ILLIT’s creative director sparks another speculation with Instagram photo

Just a day ago, ILLIT‘s creative director sparked controversy by posting a provocative photo that many interpret as a direct message to ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.

On April 25, Heo Se Ryun, the creative director for ILLIT shared an image of a raised middle finger on her Instagram story. Given the current situation between ADOR and HYBE, along with the timing of the post, many speculated that the middle finger was directed at ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.

Following the post, on April 26, ILLIT’s creative director shared another questionable photo that is speculated to be directed at ADOR once again. In particular, the photo was shared when NewJeans released the music video for their new single “Bubble Gum.”

The photo shared by the creative director showed a movie poster of a Japanese film titled ‘Our Little Sister,’ which gives off the same vintage aesthetic vibe seen in NewJeans’ latest music video.

Korean netizens once again speculated that the photo was aimed at ADOR, suggesting that the vintage aesthetic of NewJeans’ music video was copying the Japanese film.

Korean netizens commented:

Why is she keep doing this… If she has something to say, she should say it to Min Hee Jin’s face like Min Hee Jin said.”

“The vibe of that movie poster is not that similar to NewJeans…”

“This creative director is an embarrassment.”

“I am really wondering why she is doing that.”

“Oh, enjoy the movie. lol.”

“I’m embarrassed for her.”

“I’m very sure she didn’t watch that movie and posted that poster.”

“So obvious what she’s doing.”

“Why can’t she just stay quiet.”

“I’m looking forward to her next album, lol.”

“Seriously?”

“That film is a dark film about how the father of the three sisters had an affair and gave birth to that girl wearing the uniform out of wedlock. But the three sisters accept that little sister… She definitely doesn’t know anything about that film. lol. So uneducated.”

“She posted this when NewJeans released their music video.”
