San Diego gazes up as SpaceX rocket launches into sky – NBC 7 San Diego

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 22 Starlink internet satellites headed to low-Earth orbit on Monday evening, much to the awe of many San Diegans.

The rocket was sent off from Vandenberg Space Force Base, located west of Santa Barbara.

The launch was originally planned for last Thursday (March 28) but was postponed several days due to the wet weather.
