Does Reese Witherspoon’s son Deacon Phillippe have too posh of a pad?

The New York University student let TikTok star Caleb Simpson — whose 7.8 million followers watch him tour expensive homes — walk through his swanky college apartment in New York City Thursday and now he’s getting backlash for being a nepo baby.

“Rich kids / nepo babies LOVE to avoid mentioning their extremely wealthy parents,” one viewer wrote in the video’s comment section.

“Let’s not forget that his mom and dad are wealthy celebrities,” another added, referring to Deacon’s mom and dad, actor Ryan Phillippe. “He could afford the whole place if he wanted to!”

A third unhappy viewer quipped, “Occupation: nepo baby,” while another wrote, “The trust fund baby life.”

Deacon, who was holding an expensive Perrier water bottle during the tour, coyly admitted he pays “West Village prices” for the apartment when prompted by Simpson — and it’s clear the space goes for a pretty penny with its spacious rooms, high ceilings and unique spiral staircase.

Unsurprisingly, people were not fond of the 20-year-old’s lack of transparency when it came to putting a price tag on the stunning apartment.

“How much do you pay? The correct answer is: ask my mom and dad,” a disappointed user wrote.

“West village prices aka Mom and Dad are paying rent,” penned an additional critic.

However, not everyone was bashing the aspiring musician.

Viewers were not happy with the 20-year-old living in such a pricey pad — especially when he gave a vague answer about how much he pays to rent the place.

“Impressed he has roommates,” one supporter commented. “Rack up those experience points!”

“Chill and laid back young man!” a second impressed viewer wrote.

“[He’s] not a regular college student … he can get any apartment he wants,” another person added, defending him. “Even so he got roommates he looks chill.”

“West village prices aka Mom and Dad are paying rent,” one person wrote under the video, with many leaving similar notes.
